Yesan-gun is the town where the friendly brothers, Yi Seong-man and Yi Sun, were born. Their story is so famous that it has even been published in elementary school textbooks. There are Yedang reservoir, the largest reservoir in the nation, National Treasure No. 49, Daeungjeon of Sudeoksa(temple), Chunguisa of Yun Bong-gil patriot, Chusa old house which is the old house of Chusa Kim Jeong-hui, Deoksan Hot Springs which is famous for its hot sodium-rich water. Yesan is the most important tour spot in the Northwestern area. Yesan-gun operates Yesan Station Cultural Tour (Bus tour) for tourists to feel and experience its excellent cultural heritage.
