Temple stay
he Temple Stay is a program for tourists to experience the Buddhist Temple Culture. You can experience the daily life at a temple, and the life of a monk. This traditional Buddhist temple, which is a treasure house of Korean traditional culture and original Buddhist culture, is well maintained.

Currently, six Buddhist temples are operating Temple Stay Programs in Chungcheongnam-do.
Program
  Ipjaesik - The ceremony to begin life at the temple. Learn basic temple courtesy such as Hapjang to combine body and spirit, and how to bow to lower myself and lift up the other party. Become a member of the temple.
  Zen - When you find yourself by entering the absorption of Zen you will inherit a thousand years while sitting in a clean Zen room of the temple
  Balugongyang - Experience such as never neglecting a even small piece of leftover food a with clean mind, sharing food with others evenly, and not making noise during a meal
  Tea ceremony - Another way to look at yourself. While sipping a cup of tea, feel the taste of tea leaves, the temperature of the water, scent, materials of ceramic tea-things, and the people around you. All these things make the best tasting tea.
  Temple Introduction - Time to look around the temple, a treasure trove of traditional Korean culture heritage and deep beauty harmonized with nature, and feel and learn about the traditions, culture, and nature of Korea.
  Ulryeok - All people in the temple clean and maintain the temple together. 'Ulryeok' means 'many people cooperate to work.' Through this, you can communicate with nature, cooperate with others, and look back at your 'Zen.'

Temples in Chungcheongnam-do
  Gapsa(temple) - is the representative temple of Gyeryongsan(Mt.). The scenery in the fall is the most beautiful, and there are many cultural heritages, such as the Daeungjeon. Various programs and a stable system are provided for the Temple Stay.
  Magoksa(temple) - Magoksa is located deep in the mountains. The venerable Jeongak and lots of cultural heritages are maintained here. A tale connected to King Sejo and Kim Si-seup and the place of Kim Gu are famous. Mercy and a meditation program are provided
  Buseoksa(temple) - It is located on the edge of Dobisan(Mt.) where there is a spectacular view of Cheonsuman and Anmyeondo. Buddhist priests Gyeongheo and Mangong used to live here. With the theme 'Birds, nature, and humans are one,' it provides various Temple Stay programs related to nature.
  Yeongpyeongsa(temple) - Where there are lightning bugs and crayfish. Every season this area is covered with wildflowers. A music concert is held at the temple every October when white Siberian Chrysanthemums cover the whole mountain. Not only nearby residents, but also visitors from far away gather for this festival.
  Musangsa(temple) - An exclusive temple for foreigners located on Gyeryongsan(Mt.). Foreign Buddhist priests come from around the world to enter Dongangeo and Hayangeo for three months. Domestic Buddhists can join the Angeo for a week during this period.
  Sudeoksa(temple) - is a historic place where Zen, which was broken in the Joseon Dynasty, is revitalized. The beautiful Daeungjeon built in Goryeo is famous, and Jeonghyesa(temple) on the peak of Deoksungsan(Mt.) and Gyeonseongam, the first place for Buddhist nun show the active domestic habits of Korean Buddhists.
